Neev | Belly to Baby | Indianapolis Maternity and Newborn Photographer

Not many of my maternity/newborn clients take the surprise route.  Usually they find out whether the baby brewing in mom's belly is a boy or a girl.  The Patel's didn't know what they were having....which I think is so awesome (my hubs and I were surprised three times), so it was fun to wonder with them at their maternity session whether they would add another boy to their family or mix it up with a girl.  Well, surprise - it was another boy!  Three year old Tanush now has a new best friend in brother Neev.  My favorite pics from their newborn session were the sibling shots.  (:  I look forward to watching the Patel brothers grow this year!

Spring Mini Sessions 2018 | Zionsville and Indianapolis Family Photographer

Spring is so close!  I am offering one day of spring mini's this year - featuring morning and evening slots - envision the beautiful spring light!!  Contact me at kellymartinphotos@gmail.com to book. Details below:

Sunday, April 29th: Location TBD (NW side of Indy, Zionsville, west Carmel area)

Morning:

Times: 7:20am, 7:40am

Evening:

Times: 7:50

Details:

  • $150 for a 15 minute session
  • Includes 8 edited images that you pick with print release (option to upgrade for $50 to receive all edited images)
  • Limited to 5 people per session
  • Payment is due upon booking and is non-refundable (exception noted below).  If you have to cancel, your payment will go towards another session with Kelly Martin Photography.
  • If inclement weather occurs, a backup date will be provided.  If that date does not work for you, we can work out an individual session time or I will refund your fee.

Johnny is ONE | Cake Smash | Indianapolis Children's Photographer

I first met the Moore family when baby John was 11 days old.  I had the honor of shooting his newborn session in their home.  One year later they came to my studio for some updated family pics and a cake smash.  Mom is a baker (like a real baker people - follow her on Instagram @moorepleasebaking) and she made the perfect little smash cake for her little man.  John was perfect - cute, smiley, and oh so polite with his cake.  Mom and Dad had to smear some frosting on him to give the cake smash effect.  Frosting or not, his session was adorable.  Happy birthday buddy!

Little Man | Sebastian | Zionsville Newborn Photographer

Love love loved my session with the Piropato's and their new little guy, Sebastian.  He was a big guy (over 9 lbs at birth) but he was so squishy and sleepy for our session and it just flowed perfectly.  He was a dream.  It's not often I can execute all of the setups and poses I have planned but I was able to get through everything I had in mind for his session.  He wore it all so well - the neutrals, the greys and especially that green tucked-in pose.....so so so cute!  And mom and dad - gorgeous and super sweet as well.  Loved getting to know these high school sweethearts.  (:

Baby Reagan | Indianapolis Newborn Photographer

I always like to get to know my clients before our session, especially my newborn clients.  But it's not very often (or EVER) that I get to see a video blog of my client's lives on YouTube before we meet.  Gabrielle and Chad starting vlogging their lives over five years ago and are now YouTube stars with a following of 300,000 subscribers.  Check them out at GabeBabeTV on YouTube.  Anyway, in doing my research and watching their videos I was especially interested in their nursery reveal video.  Gabrielle had a distinct vision for the nursery and it features a beautiful wall with big pink flower prints with a black background.  It's gorgeous and it really was my inspiration when designing the session. 

Their daughter Reagan was born on January 12th.  She was welcomed by the cutest 5 year old brother, Chad Jr.  You can see below the amazing photos he took with his new sister - honestly the most smooth sibling photos I've ever taken.  He is going to be the best big brother.
